Dundas is a community in the city of Hamilton. It is located at the bottom of the Niagara Escarpment on the western edge of Lake Ontario.
Due to protected land in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area the population has remained steady for decades at 20,000. Dundas has a large student population due to the location of McMaster University. It also ha a thriving arts community with many local potters and studio shows/walking tours taking place each other.

Dundas holds an annual Buskerfest in June and Dundas Cactus Festival in August. Dundas has many waterfalls in its region with the most popular being Webster's Falls and Tew's Falls. Dundas is home to the longest running hotel in Ontario, the Collins Hotel.
