Currently Riverside South is located around River Rd and Earl Armstrong Rd, however there are plans in place that will have Riverside South become a much larger community. According to the Riverside South Community Association, the boundaries will eventually be Leitrim Rd to the north, the Rideau River to the west, a line half-way between Earl Armstrong Rd and Rideau Rd to the south and Bowesville Rd to the east.
