Woodroffe North spans the area by the Ottawa River to Carling Ave. It is located in the Bay Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario. Near Carling Ave, Woodroffe North runs along the western edge of the Carlingwood Mall. South of Carling Ave the area is busier, especially around the intersection with the Queensway. Woodroffe North is often considered to be a part of the larger neighbourhood of Westboro. The majority of homes in this neighbourhood were originally cottages. Many of the cottages have been torn down for more modern housing to be constructed.
