What to Expect

North Riverdale is standout even among the many great Danforth neighborhoods. Located between Danforth in the north and Gerrard in the south, with the Don river in the west and ending at Pape in the east, this neighborhood is excellent for families and  urban professionals. The north west corner of the neighborhood  at Danforth and Broadview has the first subway platform after the river, with two more stops in the neighborhood as well. TTC buses can also be accessed north and south on broadview and Pape. Additionally, there is streetcar access on Gerrard. Both the Danforth and Gerrard st are walkable commercial districts. They are both filled with services, shops and restaurants. The Danforth is part of Greektown while this stretch of Gerrard is home to Chinatown East. Demographics

All across the neighborhoods of the Danforth there are an increased number of working age individuals and more young children than the city average, North Riverdale is no exception. You’ll have to work hard to keep yourself out of the park in North Riverdale. There are two outstanding green spaces, Riverdale Park East and Withrow Park. At Riverdale you’ll be able to catch some sun on the hillside with a cityscape view or while lounging at the pool. There are tennis courts and a children's playground as well as mixed use sports fields.
