Musqueam is a neighbourhood on the southwest edge of the city along the banks of the Fraser River. The Musqueam are traditional h?n?q??min??m? speaking people. They use the resources of their community such as fishing, hunting, trapping and gathering.

Demographics

The reserve is home to 700 of the bands 1,200 members. Most of the reserve land is leased under five long-term leases that were established in the 1950s and 1960s. The number of band members under 20 represent almost 40% of the band's population

There are 249 homes on the reserve for band members. Recently more houses are being constructed as many members are waiting for a home to rent or own.
